Players Of The Week
Jimmy Zingaro has been the point guard at Sterling for the past 3 yrs. He is currently averaging 11 ppg, 5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Jimmy has been selected to be the captain in both his Junior and Senior years. He is a 3-sport scholar athlete having participated in basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Jimmy plans to play at the next level and has garnered interest from multiple Division 3 schools. |

Averaging 21 points per game for Collingswood. Also has connected on 25 shots from behind the arc. He opened the season against Sterling with a 30-point effort. Bassett has had an additional six games with at least twenty points. A senior who recently scored his 1,000th career point, Bassett connected on five 3-pointers and matched his season-high with 30 points in a victory over West Deptford. Virgil Scruggs has been a 4-year Varsity player for Deptford High School. As the team Captain for the last two seasons, he has guided team to a 27-7 overall record while going 15-0 in the Liberty Division. Virgil was selected 1st team all Liberty Division, 1st team all Tri-County and 2nd team All South jersey last year as a Junior. This year as a senior Virgil has led the team to a 16-5 record and Liberty Division Championship while averaging 22 points 5 assists 5 rebounds, and 4 steals per game. Virgil recently broke the single game scoring record with a 45 point game vs Salem Tech. Virgil is also 55 points away from reaching his 1,000 point. He’s an outstanding leader, teammate and a pleasure to coach. Virgil plans to continue his basketball career at the next level while attending an HBCU. |

Jaeden Oneal torched the nets for 33 points against Kingsway, to bring his season average 26 points per game. Oneal was considered as one of the 100 players to watch by the Courier-Post this year and did not disappoint. Last year, scoring in double figures in 13 of his 15 games he averaged 14.3 points |
Rasheer Fleming is a 6'8 Senior who Avg. 6 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. Rasheer has been a key player in the rotation for Camden High who has been ranked as the # 1 team in the state of NJ since 2021. Rasheer was a key member of Camden High's 2020 South Jersey Group III Championship team. This year he earned Game MVP at the Hoop Hall Classic in Springfield, MA and has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his playing career at St. Joe's University. picking the Hawks over Big 5 rival Temple and others. Rasheer Fleming became the first Camden High School boys’ basketball player to sign a National Letter of Intent in the new Clarence Turner Gymnasium. |

Sean Hargrow is a senior at Doane Academy in Burlington City under coach Dan Williamson. Since his first year there in 9th grade he has helped the team reach new heights and became a top player in the South Jersey region. He does well in the classroom and will be committing in late March. Hargrow finished with 23 as Doane Academy got past Cinnaminson 65-53 in Cinnaminson. |

Khalil has scored 1231 total points in a 21/2 year span (51 games). One of those years, the season was cut in half due to Covid. This year, he has missed the last 4 games, due to an injury. He did not play his freshmen year. Khalil averaged 21 points as a sophomore, 26 points as a junior, and 27 points a game this year. Khalil has the ability to take over any game at any point. He can score in the paint and behind the arc. Of his 1231 points, 384 of them came from 3. (128 3's). Khalil Tucker led with a game-high 24 points as Riverside lost an early lead but won at home in overtime, 48-45, over Delran. |
