Christina Foggie started playing organized basketball in Willingboro before moving to Mount Laurel in 2002 where she became involved with the Mount Laurel Travel Basketball Program.
Christina was a four time All-South Jersey selection and in 2010 was the Burlington County Times as well as the Carino South Jersey Player-of-the-Year. She was also selected to the All-State Team twice. While at Lenape, Foggie became the All-Time Scoring Leader (Boys or Girls) with 2,137 points as well as the all-time leader in 3-pt goals with 243 successful 3-pt attempts. |
Vanderbilt University was Foggie’s next stop. She continued to score from long distance and made 276 3-pt shots to become Vanderbilt’s all-time leader in that category. She amassed 1,743 points to (7th in the Commodores scoring history). Twice she led the Southeast Conference in scoring and twice she was named to the Associated Press First Team All-Southeast Conference.
She led the Commodores to the NCAA Tournament in each of her four years and was a finalist for the Dawn Staley Award.
Christina was drafted 24th overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx (coached by South Jersey’s Cheryl Reeve).
Following Graduation, she worked in Athletic Administration at St. Joseph’s University and is currently in her first season as the Chief of Staff for Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball in Nashville.
She led the Commodores to the NCAA Tournament in each of her four years and was a finalist for the Dawn Staley Award.

Chuck Guittar 1992 graduate was instrumental in leading Paul VI High School to their first Conference Championship. Fast forwarding to the NJSIAA Tournament, PVI took on perennial powerhouse Christian Brothers and won their quarterfinal game 61-49 only with Guittar scoring 16 points and had six rebounds. The Eagles sealed the deal by hitting 25 of 33 free throws in the fourth quarter.
The next game saw another tough matchup with McCorristin High School. The Eagles prevailed 54-49. After being down by eleven at halftime, they shot 9 for 10 at the line in the fourth quarter and scored nine of the last 14 points. Chuck had 16 points and ten rebounds. |
On a night when the shots were not falling, PVI faced another power in St. Joseph’s (Metuchen) . Finishing the game on a 16-2 run, St. Joe’s eliminated PVI 51-34. Connecting on only ten of 47 shots, the Eagles were eliminated from the Tournament. Guittar again, was the leading scorer with thirteen points.
Following his illustrious career at PVI, Guittar moved on to the University of New Haven where from 1992-1994 he averaged 16.6 points per game to go along with 8.8 rebounds per game and making 84.5% of his free throws.
He finished his college career at Drexel University where he led the Dragons to their 1st NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. He accumulated a 13.5 ppg average to accompany 8.3 rpg and was rewarded by being selected to the 1997 All-Conference Team. He is number 21 on the all-time Drexel scoring list.
Guittar was named the Major College Player-of-the-Year in 1997 by the Al Carino Basketball Club of South Jersey.
Following his college days, he played professionally in Atlantic City, Ireland, Australia and England.
He then turned his success to coaching as an assistant to Coach Billy Lange (now coach of St. Joe’s University) at the Merchant Marine Academy. From 2001-2006 Guittar was and assistant coach to Bill Lange, Sr. at Lenape High School. Lenape won a State Championship in 2004.
From 2006-2018 Chuck was the Head Coach at Lenape where he amassed 218 wins against only 112 losses. In 2009, Lenape won another State Championship and he was named the Coach-of-the-Year.
Presently he is a Volunteer Assistant to Coach Joe Kessler at Shawnee.
Cedric Jackson subsequently enrolled at Northern Burlington County Regional High School in Columbus, New Jersey. He was a first-team all-state selection his senior year among other selections and averaged 26 points per game.
St. John’s University and Cleveland State College where he made a notable game-winning full-court shot against Syracuse and helped the Vikings past Wake Forest in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Tournament.. After sitting out the 2006–07 season due to NCAA transfer regulations, Jackson starred at Cleveland State, helping them make two straight postseason appearances in 2008 and 2009. In 71 games for the Vikings over two seasons, Jackson averaged 12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.8 steals per game. |
After going undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft, Jackson joined the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League for the 2009–10 season. In 34 games, he averaged 16.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Between January and April, Jackson had multiple stints in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards. In 12 NBA games during the 2009–10 season, Jackson averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 assists per game.
After playing for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2012 NBA Summer League, Jackson re-signed with the Breakers for the 2012–13 NBL season in August. On November 30, 2012, Jackson recorded his first career triple-double with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the Melbourne Tigers. On March 24, Jackson was named the NBL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2012–13 season. He also earned All-NBL First Team honors for the second straight year, and led the league in assists (7.1) and steals (2.8) for the second straight year.

Bob Martin was inducted to the Atlantic City High School Sports Hall of Fame. Out of high school, Bob Martin was a 1987 McDonalds All-American, Street & Smith All-American and was a member of the Nation’s best recruiting class
In 1993, Martin was a member Team USA’s gold medal winning team at the FIBA Americas Championship where he averaged 12.7 points per game to go along with 8.1 rebounds per game, five blocks and a 54.8 shooting percentage. A three-year starter at Pittsburgh, Martin finished his time ranked 17th on the Pitt scoring list with 1,282 career points, 775 rebounds and 109 blocked shots. He was one of just eight Pitt players to score at least 20 points and grab at least 20 rebounds in a single game and tied the Pitt record for blocks in a game (7). |
Prior to starting his own basketball training company, Martin had a successful 16-year professional career that began with the Quad City Thunder of the CBA where he won the CBA Championship in 1994 and was named to the CBA All-Defensive team. Martin then embarked on an 11-year career in the Liga ACB in Spain where he was named as one of the top rebounders in ACB history by Solobasket.com.
Martin enters his second season as an assistant coach on Bill Coen’s staff in 2017-18 at Northeastern.
Martin, who will focus on coaching the Husky forwards, comes to Northeastern after running BMB Training and Development LLC, a premier training program for basketball players at every level, since 2012.

Genevieve Okoro was a four-year starter for Eastern High School and Captain of her team as a senior. She was selected to the 1st Team All-Conference, All-Group IV and All-South Jersey in each of her four seasons (2007-2010).
Additionally, she was a McDonald’s All-American nominee (2009-2010). She led her squad to the South Jersey Group IV Championship (2008-2009 and 2009-10). Three-year varsity letter winner in volleyball and Two-year varsity letter winner in track and field. State Runner-Up (2009-2010). |
Following her outstanding career at Eastern, Genevieve moved on to the University of Richmond where she continued to excel for the Spiders. She was a two-time Rookie-of-the-Week and twice scored season highs of 16 points. The following season she played in all 32 games (starting in 22 games) and named to the Atlantic-10 All-Conference Team. Okoro reached double figures in scoring in 17 games including a career-high 27 points against James Madison.

Justin Phoenix is a 1992 graduate at Camden Catholic this 2009 inductee to the Camden Catholic Hall of Fame completed his career with the Irish amassing 1,302 career points.
He was a three-year varsity starter whose teams won 20-plus games all three seasons under Jim Crawford. Named All-South Jersey, All-Conference and All-Parochial. Scored 1,302 career points. Selected as team captain and honored with the Dominic "Duke" Murtin Award for the Irish. Was 4-0 as starting pitcher on baseball team as a senior. A team captain and team MVP at Manhattan, Phoenix has played in Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea, Dominican Republic, Spain, Indonesia, England and Scotland. He has won championships in England and the Dominican Republic. |
Three-year starting forward for Manhattan. Named team captain and team MVP. Played in two NCAA tournaments and two NITs. Named Chevy Player-of- the- Game against Arizona State in the tournament.
Prior to joining Georgia Southern, he was an Assistant Coach at Kean University. During his time with the Cougars, he helped the squad to a 51-10 record and a NJAC Championship in 2010. Kean made the NCAA Tournament twice during his tenure in Union, N.J.
In his inaugural season as head coach at Centenary College in New Jersey. the first-year head coach led the Cyclones to the ECAC Tournament and opened his career with five-straight wins, including winning the Hunter College Tip-Off Tournament. Centenary ranked second in the Colonial States Athletic Conference in scoring offense with 68.7 points per game and second in the league in free throw percentage with a .684 mark.

Danielle Ryan, a 1989 graduate, is arguably the most prolific player to come out of Shawnee's girls’ hoops program.
She is the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,115 career points and scored 708 points in a single season. During her senior year she took home scoring honors in the Burlington County Scholastic League (22.4 ppg) and was the Burlington County Times Player-of-the-Year in both 1988 and 1989. She dropped in 43 points in a game against Burlington City during that year. In 1989 Danielle was named Player of the Year by the Philadelphia Inquirer, and 2nd Team All State. |
At Shawnee High School, she earned 9 Varsity letters; four in basketballs, four in soccer, and one in softball. Danielle was All-Burlington County Liberty Conference 1985-1989, All Burlington County 1985-1989, All South Jersey 1986-1989, and All Group 4 1986-1989, and All South Jersey Midfield Player of the Year in 1987.

Lisa Steele is an Erial, NJ native who played at Highland Regional High School from 2000-2004. She is Highland's all-time leading scorer with 2,204 points. Steele was rated the 48th-best senior overall nationally, honored as an AAU All American in 2003, selected Street & Smith Honorable Mention All American three times, and was an Associated Press All-Region second-team selection. She helped lead her team to 4 conference titles, 1 sectional title, and a 2004 USA Today Top 25 National Ranking.
Steele played at George Washington University. Battling foot injuries throughout her career, Steele was a member of the AP/Coaches Poll Top 25 team all four years and played in two NCAA Sweet 16 games and 2 NCAA 2nd Round Tournament games. |
Highlights from her playing career at GWU were adding seven points on 3-of-6 shooting and two steals in an upset of No. 11/10 Georgia, chipping in six points, including key late-game three-point play, and nabbing four boards in 11 minutes vs Charlottes to clinch an A-10 Regular Season Conference Championship, and hitting a game-winning three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining in 68-66 victory at No. 18 Auburn.
